Framework Comparison Methodology

Each manager's extracted data is compared against three framework layers: (1) Internal policies — 6 internal policies covering climate, governance, human rights, biodiversity, diversity, and reporting; (2) ICSWG Investment Stewardship Alignment Tool — proxy voting alignment, engagement alignment, and governance overrides assessed via the 8-question stewardship questionnaire; (3) Regulatory standards — UK Stewardship Code compliance, DWP TCFD statutory guidance (Oct 2022), and Shareholder Rights Directive II requirements. Final scores weight public data (35–50%), private data (20–35%), and framework alignment (30%) to generate a composite assessment with confidence rating.
